3 Things you should get for christmas

3

So it is currently October, and therefore, the nights are getting longer, the weather is progressively getting worse. Oh, and the countdown to Christmas is starting up (Yes, Halloween is first, but there are already christmas biscuit tins in the shops, so get off my back). Christmas is approaching, which almost certainly means that people are going to get things. Now, I have moaned about the commercialisation of christmas, but I get that it is hard to show your love and gratitude for someone’s existence is pretty hard, so I guess…here’s 5 recommended gifts…

  1. TBBT/DOCTOR WHO/LEGO DIMENSIONS LEGO…stuff

LEGO is a sure thing. You cannot have christmas without a LEGO model. At least, that is my argument. And LEGO has really got a good Christmas game. Releasing 3 things that look very good. LEGO The Big Bang Theory and LEGO Doctor Who sets (Can you picture getting both, and sticking Sheldon Cooper in the TARDIS?). And also, a new Skylanders-esque LEGO Game, LEGO DIMENSIONS. Which sees various franchises from Doctor Who to Back to the Future battling evil together, in Computer Generated LEGO form. Talking of Back to the Future…

2. BACK TO THE FUTURE PEPSI PERFECT BOTTLE

I love this trilogy. Retailing for 20 US Dollars (about £10), you can own a replica bottle of Pepsi Perfect from the Back to the Future film. Specifically the middle one. Admittedly, a fancy bottle of coke will probably not be the best thing to spend your monies on. But if you’re a die-hard nerd who really wants that drink, then go for it. I probably would order it in from the US. I have American friends. I can pay them.

3. LORRAINE RENEE SKUTA

Psst…do you like artists. Lorraine is an example of an artist who really needs more credit than she gets. Im a fan of Steven Universe (previously documented) and she admins a group on the Facebooks for people like me. I won a writing competition on her page today. And she showed me some of her artwork. And I have to tell you, she’s pretty good. I really love her stuff. Some of her stuff is Steven Universe related, some of it isn’t. But it doesn’t matter. I hate it when good talent is wasted. So, I vowed to help in what little way I could. I have put her shop link below, as well as her Facebook to show her off. She does good work (check out that Dogcopter Shirt. You should definitely get it). And I think a kid who likes Gumball or Steven Universe, or even an adult (cartoons aren’t for kiddies. They’re just appropriate for Kiddies). Please do check her out. If you’re a nerd, and you like stuff. I recommend this stuff.
