Acting like a right Blue Tit!

A

This one is an unplanned entry, but I feel it’s worthy of mentioning, that a bird invaded the conservatory today, and it was up to me and Sam to rid ourselves of it.

The fun started just before lunch, when I was watching television and playing on my Nexus 7, when I hear a noise, and I find Sylvia the cat and a blue tit bird eyeing each other, one standing on the floor and the other on top of the blinds. I then shouted for Sam to help, who I will admit for a nine year old he is fairly smart, we then got the cat away, as she was psychologically torturing Jake (as I named the little blue tit).

It took two hours but we eventually lured him/her out, but it wasn’t without some troubles. Much of it centered on the cat, as we wanted it out and didn’t want the cat trying to get it scaring Jake back into the house, me and Sam tried to keep Sylvia outside, while I tried to leave bread out to lure Jake out, we even got our neighbour to try and help us, I sent Sam round to next door, to help us. In the end, we left the two doors open, closed the door from the kitchen to the conservatory ¬†and hoped for the best. When the neighbour came round a little while later, it seemed that Jake had left, which was good. He could be either dead or gone, one of the two, but he’s probs OK.

Jake actually reminds me of me, in some respects. I have a lot to deal with in life, I have to live, I have to deal with problems I am faced with, sometimes with little guidance or find my own way, and, like Jake, we were thrown into a strange place, which we weren’t used to, but we adapted, and now we are out. Me and Jake are just two small animals in a big world.
