Countdown to Christmas Dec 22: Christmas presents

C

swatch lolPeople like getting gifts for christmas.I could go on about commercialism of the christmas holiday period, but that would be too negative, and also I can’t be bothered.

Instead, I’d like to talk about what I asked the big man for for the holidays.I asked for a nice shiny new Swatch. My current one is a perfectly functioning blue analogue watch, but it is starting to show some signs of wear and tear, and also I wanted my own swatch, rather than one handed down to me.Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful, but I thought that this blue watch I’ve worn for over a year myself (formerly owned by my uncle, by the way.I’ll make sure I take good care of it).

This Swatch I have asked for is the Swatch Touch in yellow.I liked the look of the yellow one the most when looking at the watches, I thought it looked nice and bright. It’s a digital watch and I have a picture here.

I think is one of the most expensive presents I’ve asked for Christmas or birthdays. Most of them in the past were like £70-£90, I have gone outside of this mark in the past, asking for an Ipod and a camera.

Other things I have asked for include include DVD’s, CD’s, Lego, books etc.In the past it was mostly action figures and toys, but that has changed since I have grown up.And I’m glad of that.
