Live Long and Prosper: An Obituary to Leonard Nimoy

L

So, on this day, Leonard Nimoy has passed away, at the age of 83 years old. He died after a short illness. Star Trek was one of the first fandoms I became obsessed with, introduced to me through the TNG repeats on BBC 2, I watched some of the original, and Spock was the stand out character. The logically cold alien struck a cord with me, especially when finding out that I was autistic, I felt a lot of parallels with this character. These days, Zachary Quinto plays spock, and he is OK, but he is no Leonard Nimoy. The man who tore the Berlin Wall in Space down with Star Trek VI is gone.
